Bill.com is one of our favorite software we use in our accounting department! We were thrilled when they reached out asking for an interview about our firm and how we utilize their services. If you haven’t heard of them, they are cloud-based software that digitizes and automates financial operations for small to midsized businesses.

One of the biggest ways you can improve the health of your business is to outsource your accounts receivable/payable services. Businesses experience losses or setbacks because they have disorganized cashflow.

One of the many benefits of using software like Bill.com is that it gets you your money faster. Sending out paper invoices and payments take longer and are often a waste of that time. The faster you send out an invoice, the faster you receive the money. Making your payment system as easy as possible for your clients will bring in money faster as well. The cloud-based online software allows your clients to pay online and you receive payment immediately.

In our interview, we discussed how Bill.com seamlessly integrates with our other cloud-based software.

It makes AR/AP a breeze when working with clients both near and far. It also pairs down processes that would normally take hours! Because Bill.com has a mobile app, clients can approve of their payments from anywhere in a matter of minutes.

When we started using Bill.com, we didn’t know how much it would really affect our business. We are glad to say that it has only helped our relationships with clients! Because of this software, we’ve been able to focus on being more advisory and consultative rather than transactional with our clients.
